EU pet passport – Applicable only when travelling with private persons - Animals must not be sold or transferred otherwise
Since 29.12.2014 new rules apply to intra-Community movements of pets (travels between Member states of the EU and the EEA, Northern Ireland and Switzerland) due to Regulation (EU) No. 576/2013
Amended pet passport
Besides other changes the pet passport (PDF, 171 KB)has also been amended when issued after 29. December 2014. If you already have a pet passport for your animal it will remain valid for the lifetime of the animal. The pet passport in the new format will be laminated in those places containing data on the microchip and all entries done with adhesive stickers.
Declaration of compliance regarding rabies declaration by the owner / authorised person
